ISO 14001 certification: Our commitment to the environment
Our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility has been verified and confirmed by an independent certification body. At Thermokon, we operate an environmental management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001.
DIN EN ISO 14001 is an international standard that defines requirements for an effective environmental management system. It helps us to systematically improve our environmental performance, identify and manage environmental risks, and comply with legal and other requirements.

Resource-efficient processes in compliance with REACH and RoHS guidelines
We handle resources sparingly, for example, by generating renewable energy or by modernizing technologies and systems to improve efficiency. This is supported by regular reporting with relevant key figures, from which we derive new measures and investments.
Reducing our material consumption through process optimization also plays an important role. In compliance with REACH and RoHS guidelines, we conscientiously strive to use environmentally friendly or bio-based materials.
Our customers also benefit from our environmental awareness. Our aim is to contribute to increased energy efficiency with intelligent sensor technology. That's what the name Thermokon stands for. The careful selection and annual evaluation of our partners also ensure sustainable solutions throughout the entire supply chain.
Energy-efficient buildings and cities
We develop technologies and products for building automation to make buildings and even entire cities more sustainable in the long term and enable a high quality of life.

Responsible use of raw materials
We use resources sparingly and avoid materials that cause unnecessary environmental pollution or are difficult to dispose of.
We take care to keep energy consumption low and strive to continuously improve our contribution to environmental protection with reasonable effort and investment.
We avoid the use of raw materials, such as conflict minerals, that are subject to embargoes or other import restrictions.
Our suppliers are obliged to identify these raw materials in manufactured products in the supply chain upon request and to disclose the origin and sources of the raw materials they use.
Even after the product life cycle, we handle the raw materials from our products responsibly by sending our old devices and batteries to appropriate recycling processes. Focus on renewable energies
We use large-scale solar panels on the roofs of our company buildings to produce clean electricity and thus reduce our own carbon footprint.
Our company location in Mittenaar-Offenbach is equipped with a photovoltaic system that delivers an output of 100 kWP. At our Bischoffen location, we go one step further – the modern production building is equipped with a powerful solar system that achieves an impressive 905 kWP. In this way, we are making an active contribution to climate protection and sustainable corporate development.
The clean electricity generated is not only used for our own buildings, but also to charge company vehicles, e-bikes and other electric vehicles.
This is an advantage that is gladly used by our own employees and also our visitors.
